If you’re looking for something a little more this century, the Dummies Guide series has produced a DVD version of its popular Golf for Dummies title. The DVD runs 75 minutes and is hosted by the author of the original book on which it was based, Gary McCord. McCord is a former sports commentator, and so is well equipped to present a DVD such as this one. He practices putting, swinging, golf etiquette and many other subjects.

The title is well reviewed on Amazon, with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. Reviewers said that it is not only perfect for beginners but also for experienced golfers. Amazon offers the DVD individually or as a package deal with the Golf for Dummies book and its companion title Golf Rules and Etiquette for Dummies for $41.33.
